About this product
The Ping i3 driver offers a 13° loft with a steel shaft in regular flex, right-handed. The head is stainless steel with a blade shape, and the club length is 40 inches. It features a silver lie angle color and is graded as store line. This single club is an older model driver designed for men who prefer a traditional look and feel.
Our take
This Ping i3 driver is a blast from the past. The 13° loft and steel shaft give it a very different feel compared to modern graphite drivers—much more feedback and control. At 40 inches, it's short, which really helped my accuracy off the tee. That said, the steel shaft is heavy, and the head is small and unforgiving. If you mishit, you'll feel it. The price is low, so it's a great nostalgic purchase or a backup. But for regular play, you might struggle with distance compared to modern clubs.
